RACK ROOM SHOES

In 1984, DEICHMANN ventured out across the Atlantic Ocean – so far a successful decision. With Lerner Shoes, they again acquired a shoe chain, which – being also a family company – fitted in well with DEICHMANN. The owner maintained his contacts to the company so that the contact to the employees was smooth and close right from the beginning.

The success story in America begins with the new shop concept, and therefore the company is appropriately named RACK ROOM SHOES. All brands, which are being sold in the USA are offered at low-cost prices and complemented with high quality own brands.

The development so far confirms the success of the concept: Today, ca. 4,300 employees are working at RACK ROOM SHOES in the USA. The company has around 390 branches and is represented in 27 states. The future looks promising: Further outlets will be opened above all in the south east states, i.e. in Texas and Arizona.
